Patient Safety
Keeping Lakeview Healthy
Lakeview Dental Arts continually monitors recommendations by the ADA and CDC as they pertain to clinical dental care. We are committed to ensuring that all federal, state, and regional guidelines are followed throughout the duration of this crisis and into the future. We look forward to treating you!
Our practice has always had the very highest of standards when it comes to your health and that hasn’t changed. Every time you visit our office, our primary goal is to ensure your health and your safety.
We want to assure you that we are taking specific measures in addition to our thorough infection control procedures in order to keep you, our dental team, and our community safe from the spread of COVID-19.
We’re not interested in meeting guidelines, we’re driven by the need to exceed them because we know that you and your health are worth the extra effort.
Protocols for Your Safety
On-Site Laundry — Our staff no longer leave the office in their work attire. All scrubs, gowns, and jackets are laundered on-site to prevent cross-contamination of aerosols that potentially settle on clothing throughout the day.
Hospital-Grade Air Purifier — HEPA filtration removes unwanted bacteria and viral pathogens from the air throughout our practice, keeping patients and our team members safe.
High-Suction Lines — We’ve installed two high-suction lines in each patient care room to multiply the ability for aerosol removal during dental procedures.
Full Face Shields — This extra layer of protection reduces the transmission of any airborne particles between patients and staff.
Ozone Generator — Ultraviolet (UV) light and charcoal traps and destroys viruses before they have a chance to spread elsewhere.
N95 and Level III Surgical Masks — As a dental provider, we’re able to order medical-grade masks for our staff, preventing transmission of viruses through respiratory droplets or aerosols created during routine dental procedures, breathing, and speaking.
Reusable Surgical-Grade Gowns — Added layers of protection prevent viral penetration of clothing during dental procedures without having to dispose of the gown after each use.
Increased Space Between Care Areas — Our office recently added extra clinical rooms, which will allow us to increase the distance between patients
